Give Good Things Another Chance

Have useful things you no longer need?

Bring them to Milltown Market.

Your donations help keep usable goods out of the waste stream, provide affordable secondhand goods for our neighbors, and create resources that can be invested back into our community.

Your Donations Can Do More

Milltown Market is a locally owned, for-profit business with a community impact model.

We use the sale of secondhand goods to build a financially healthy company, create jobs, provide affordable goods and generate resources that can be reinvested into our community.

One way we do that is by partnering with local nonprofit organizations.

Through these partnerships, donated goods can become financial support, materials, services, education and other resources that help organizations doing meaningful work in Springfield and the surrounding community.

Our Current Nonprofit Partnership

We currently partner with Northwood Christian Church in Springfield to support its Harvest Offering and community outreach efforts.

Northwood supports numerous organizations and programs serving people throughout Springfield, Eugene and Lane County, including efforts addressing food insecurity, homelessness, youth and family needs, and other community challenges.

[Learn About Northwood's Outreach]

We are also beginning conversations with other Springfield-area nonprofits and community organizations about future partnerships and collaborations.

Our goal is simple:

Use what we're given to create as much good as we can.

Tax-Deductible Donations

Eligible charitable donations made through our participating nonprofit partnership may qualify as tax-deductible contributions.

When you request a charitable donation receipt, your donation will be handled through the applicable nonprofit partner, which is responsible for providing the donation acknowledgment.

Please ask us about a receipt when making your donation.

Why Donate to Milltown?

Because your old stuff can still do something useful.

A table can help furnish someone's first apartment.

A box of tools can help someone afford their next project.

A donated computer can find another home.

A piece of furniture can avoid the landfill.

And the value created through those goods can help support organizations working throughout our community.

Everything entrusted to us deserves to leave better than we found it.

That's the Milltown Market Way.
